Insurance is a contract, not a vibe. Knowing exactly what you're paying for is the difference between "wow it worked" and "they didn't pay out, what gives".
Covered events, by type
Event Covered? Unauthorised debit from your wallet (you didn't initiate it)✓ Yes SIM-swap attack and subsequent drain✓ Yes Phone stolen, wallet emptied before you locked it✓ Yes You sent money to a scammer voluntarily✕ No You shared your PIN with someone✕ No Disputed transaction with a merchant✕ No (it's a charge-back)Cover ceilings by plan
The cover amount is the maximum we pay per claim — not per year, per claim. You can file multiple claims in a year (up to 3 fraud + 2 theft) and each one is independently capped at the plan's ceiling.
- Basic · GHS 500 fraud / GHS 1,000 theft
- Plus · GHS 2,000 fraud / GHS 3,500 theft
- Premium · GHS 5,000 fraud / GHS 8,000 theft
Why this matters
If your wallet typically holds GHS 100 max, Basic is plenty. If you run a small business through your MoMo and float GHS 4,000 most days, Plus or Premium will actually protect what's in there. Plan choice should match the largest balance you might have — not the smallest.
